Over the past two years, I have made space to listen to God. During my 2 month fast from social media, music and poor speech, I was able to gain perspective and create two businesses with the sole purpose of utilizing my gifts to give to others. During that time, I have discovered that there are two reasons we were put on earth: to give with our hearts and to give with our hands.

God granted me the opportunity to utilize my heart throughout the process of building both of my businesses, for the purpose of sharing my desire for home design and people. My businesses were not only created by God, but they are actively being rearranged by him as well. God recently redirected my vision and thought to lead me into giving with my hands.

My life has been difficult and every obstacle has revealed areas in my life I tend to bring more of my heart into like relationships and friendships. Not only has that been my downfall, but it has lead me to spend more time learning about the creator of my life. If you’re anything like me, it took me reaching rock bottom for my hands to be free to receive guidance. 

In the beginning, the idea of refurbishing furniture was not the first step I received from God. It wasn’t until I made the decision to let my circumstances lead me closer to his word, that I was able to get the direction. For that reason, I will use my heart to share my creativity and passion for home décor and to draw others closer to their purpose. I will use my hands to repurpose used furniture and to physically give away items just to give and not to get.
